Balsamic Marinated Beef Steaks
8 6-to-7 ounce beef rib eye or filet steaks (about 1 inch thick)
½ cup chopped shallots
2 tablespoons mustard
Combine and whisk vinaigrette, shallots & mustard. Pour into shallow dish and add steaks. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, turning steaks after first hour. Prepare barbecue or broiler to medium heat. Remove steaks from marinade; sprinkle with salt & pepper. Cook about 6-7 minutes per side for medium-rare. Serve with either Wild Thymes Frisee Beet & Pecan Salad with Mandarin Orange Basil Vinaigrette, Wild Thymes Arugula Tangerine and Blue Cheese Salad or Wild Thymes Asparagus in Parmesan Walnut Caesar Vinaigrette and either Wild Thymes Lemon Mint Tabbouleh Salad or Wild Thymes Four Season Salad.
